The Tallman postmaster, Baird, went out of his way to help track the document by emailing numerous times the facility where it was lost. After many days, he wrote a letter and sent the copies of my documents to the party it was originally intended, and explained the situation after taking full responsibility on behalf of the US Postal Service. He was a real gentleman! Tried solving the problem as if it was his document that was lost!

- MMMona MonaMar 4, 20265.0I recently visited the United States Postal Service location in Tallman, and I had a very positive experience. The clerk ( fahd) who assisted us was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and treated us with kindness and respect—like friends and family. It was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had at a post office. We truly need more clerks like him at other locations. In contrast, my experiences at the Monsey post office have not been positive. The staff there have often been rude and disrespectful, and supervisors take a very long time to respond to customer concerns. I hope management can look into improving service at that location.
