  Nice staff but on a Saturday they closed early or weren't open at all, unlike 1pm hours they post. That's normal for a barber shop but not a government office. So ended up having to go to North Syracuse instead, lost about two hours that day due to that.

  It’s 5:29 and I’m walking in the door and the guy is forcing me to come back tomorrow. All I need to do is send a package to my mom in Florida because she is taking care of my grandpa with dementia. Would have taken him 5 mins but instead he wanted to go in the back room to talk to his coworker. Would have taken him 5 mins to help me send this out. Ridiculous… It’s 5:50 now and he is still here in the back room. Waiting in the lobby for my uber and all he is doing is talking to his coworker. I’ll be coming back tomorrow to file a complaint.

  (DEWITT POST OFFICE)My mail hasn’t came since the 1st week of February so I called the post office & they said it was held because my mailbox had too much snow near it. I said shouldn’t I be notified she said NO.. Okay so I told them that the snow had been removed so can they deliver my mail? She said yes.. & she was a little rude.. I went to the office to pick up my mail 2 weeks ago, now 2 weeks later AGAIN.. Still no delivery… I’ve called many times but no one will answer the phone. I called the cooperate office, they were very nice & told me I could file a complaint I was trying not to but now I am.. I’ve never ever had this issue..

  Change of staff at the Dewitt branch has made it a very unpleasant experience for the most part. I recently walked in to process a passport. No one in the place, but I was told I needed to make an appointment to process the passport. woman behind the counter scheduled my appointment for noon the following day When I walked in the woman who had scheduled my appointment the prior day was behind the counter again. There was a gentleman she was finishing up with and when I got to the counter, she told me I was two minutes late. I reminded her that I was waiting for her to finish with the gentleman in front of me. There was no other staff available at the other service windows. The woman behind the counter, then proceeded to rush me along, pointing out a long line of customers was forming. I had scheduled my visit to process a passport. The appointment time allowed me 15 minutes.She was rude, belligerent, haughty and proceeded to tell me that If I didn’t hurry along, she would not process the application. Such poor customer service! Please bring those wonderful clerks back and let this woman work in back as she lacks any people skills.

  This is an older post office, the lobby and service area re in need of updating. I work in East Syracuse, and will drive past the East Syracuse post office to come to Kinne St because the lines often move faster here...
