- MJMiss Jackie2 days ago1.0The old lady at the counter is miserable. She was extremely rude to me and confrontational for no reason. I wanted to mail a package so I took it to the counter to mail. She picked it up, squeezed it and said there were things in the package so I can’t mail it as paper. I never asked to mail it as paper. She then asked me what was in the package. When I started answering her, she cut me off and said exactly, not just paper. I never mentioned mailing it as paper so I don’t know why she kept saying that. I ship lots of packages and have never had anyone act like that. It was honestly the most ridiculous experience I’ve ever had at any Post Office. That old lady needs some meds or a new job away from the public.

I tried using the self service but was having difficulty since it was international shipping and when I went to the service desk the lady was rude about it and talking down to me like I was stupid. Anytime I have to come to the Howard road location the employees are very rude. She was also rude to the guy before me as well. If you hate your job so much then quit, don’t take it out on the customers.

We made 2 appointments online on the website for a passport Appointment, the first time we go in they tell us that they dont have appointments on saturdays even though the website allows it and they dont know why. And the signage posted in the post office itself says there are appointments on saturdays. We make another appointment online for the following Thursday and they tell us we can't see anyone because the passport person is on vacation and he's the only person that is certified to do passports (not even the supervisor is as we came to find out after speaking to him). He helped us set up a third appointment for today (monday) and we end up waiting for 30 minutes and just watching how impolite the staff was to everyone while we were waiting. The post office needs to update their online scheduling system or hire people that can fill saturday appointments and make sure their staff are treating customers with respect.
