- EZElena Zhuravina1 day ago1.0I visited the Riverhead Post Office on July 6, 2026, and unfortunately had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I use USPS services very frequently and have visited many different locations over the years. This was only my second visit to the Riverhead location, and both times I was shocked by the attitude of the staff. The level of arrogance, condescension, and lack of professionalism was extremely disappointing. It also felt like the employee was completely disengaged and unwilling to help. This location provides a very poor customer experience. I hope management takes these complaints seriously and works to improve the quality of service, because no customer should be treated this way.

I gave it to one of the workers one of the workers then left my Social Security number in the public, so everyone can see it….. Then, when I asked him, why would he do that? He said it’s your responsibility. It’s your Social Security card, but the problem was my Social Security card was out of my reach behind the glass, but it was still in the point of view of everyone.

Two minutes later, I went back up to the same woman and stood there, ignored for several minutes while she was on her phone. I’ve been coming here for years and always go to the gentleman who's so helpful. She was extremely rude.
