I would like to recognize an outstanding employee named Louis at the The UPS Store. Today, I came into the store with a package return for Amazon using a QR code label. Unfortunately, the scanner would not accept it because the package was originally designated for drop-off at the Grand Street UPS locker location. Instead of simply turning me away, Louis went above and beyond to help resolve the issue. He patiently assisted me by using my phone to make all the necessary changes needed to obtain a new label so the package could be accepted directly at his store. Thanks to his professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to help, I did not have to make an unnecessary trip to the Grand Street locker location. UPS truly needs more employees like Louis who are customer-friendly, respectful, and genuinely helpful. He greatly enhanced the UPS customer service experience and represented the company in a very positive way. Louis is an excellent example of professionalism and dedication and deserves recognition for his outstanding service. Thank you again, Louis, for your expertise, patience, and exceptional customer care.

Can officially count on my second hand how many times I have not been able to get my packages, or ship my packages, due to the wifi being out 30 minutes before they close. Imagine seeing your package on a shelf, and the pre-teen behind the desk telling you "I can't give you the package, the wifi is out."

I had a terrible experience at the The UPS Store on 867 Cypress Ave in Ridgewood. I arrived at 6:50 PM (they close at 7), and the employee immediately told me they were “closed” and refused service, claiming drop offs must be done before 6 PM despite posted hours. When I politely asked for my packages to be scanned, he became loud, argumentative, and disrespectful, telling me I didn’t know what I was talking about. The situation escalated to the point where he made a racially inappropriate remark, switched to speaking Spanish at me without reason, and continued arguing even after completing the transaction. It got worse he followed me out of the store, continued harassing me, refused to provide his name (claiming he was the supervisor), and even told me to “bring a man” because he doesn’t argue with women. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. I ship with UPS almost daily and have never experienced anything like this. Based on other reviews, this seems to be a pattern at this location. This needs to be addressed immediately.

If you could make your way to the UPS store in knickerbocker please do so. I went in here to return Verizon equipment. To begin, there was a line. Only one of the employees knew how to do shipping (I’m sure the lady was training). I waited almost an hour on that line just so I could get dismissed. I didn’t get his name but he swore he knew everything. I clearly stated that Verizon sent me an email with INSTRUCTIONS as to what to do to send my equipment back. I SHOWED him the email. He then proceeded to tell me that I was going to pay to ship it, I said no they said it would be covered. He said someone has to pay for the supplies used to ship the item. He said I can’t do nothing, I need an order number. I repeatedly said I don’t have one, Verizon didn’t provide one. The email is all I got. He again said without an order number I can’t do anything. He NEVER even tried to scan the serial number on the equipment which is what the email stated to do. Frustrated I left. This wasn’t the only thing that happened that day either. Another young man was shipping an Xbox too. Same thing he said you need to pay for the shipping and the supplies that we’re going to provide to ship it back. He said no it’s all covered by the insurance this isn’t my first time doing this. The man working again said no I’ve done this for years I already know. When he scanned the young man’s email he abruptly said oh wow this is new. Seemed very arrogant and annoyed (he kept complaining about customers not wanting to use the kiosk for returns out loud) if you don’t like your field of work, get a different job. HOWEVER, I went to the UPS store at 381 Knickerbocker to see if they would help me with returning my Verizon equipment. LITERALLY IN AND OUT. I paid the parking meter prepared to be there at least half an hour. The young lady SCANNED the serial number, printed out my receipt and said Enjoy the rest of your day! I was shocked I told her my experience with this store at cypress and she said oh yeah a lot of people prefer to take that extra 5 min trip to this store. I understand why! I have attached the email I showed him with clear instructions. NEVER GOING TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN.
