  Agree with reviewers naming Cathy a bad front desk customer service clerk. Surprised she is still working for the USPS front desk, knowing she is causing customers to go to the Mount Vernon or New Rochelle locations. She does not seem to like her job and I am sure she goes to work to make the customer’s life difficult instead of doing the opposite. Seems like she always tried to find a way to turn the customer away. I try to go elsewhere, but when cannot I actually tell other customers go ahead of me to avoid dealing with Cathy and wait for another clerk to help me. Any other clerk always does a better job than Cathy. I rarely write bad reviews, but after so many horrible experiences with this lady and reading other customers reviews and listening other customers experiencing the same issues while on line, I just had to write my review. I come to the conclusion that the reason she is still there is because she knows someone up high, since it is a small town. When complained to the manager, he had her side, so no sense calling to complain. That is why I try to avoid her. Go to any other post office like Mount Vernon or New Rochelle. Now she inspects the outside of the boxes even though she knows it is a reused box meaning what the box says is not what is in the box. Very annoying lady. And the manager is useless. Maybe her son that is why she does not do anything about her complaints from customers.

  They need to fix the handicap button because it makes the door super heavy to open when it’s not working. The door is extremely heavy, which is why I can’t enter unless my husband comes with me. There’s no point in having a handicap button if it doesn’t work, especially when it’s the only entrance. If it’s never fixed, it prevents people with limitations from being able to enter. I avoid coming because I’m worried about having a flare up which I had everytime I went alone. Other than that I love the location but I only go with my husband which is rare since he is working . Good to know if I was to have surgery not to come here this door is a big risk.

  Kathy is very rude has a nasty attitude. She gives a bunch of false information, She wouldn’t take my package and many various times because she is lazy and doesn’t want to do her job. One time I bought many packages and she told us to get a QR code for all of them instead because she didn’t feel like scanning all of them meanwhile, that’s her job. I spoke to the manager as well, and he was very nasty with me, He kept yelling at me over the phone, not letting me speak. Turns out everyone here is Very disrespectful with no manners except Sarah. Kathy always has an issue with Every package I bring. When Kathy denied a package I bought I Bought it to a different post office instead and they accepted it. It’s so sad that the Pelham post office is full of many nasty people, including The manager who you’d expect to make everything better.

  Very good easy location but should update the website. Yesterday, June 19th, I first checked online and it says open at 9 a.m. and when I got there it was close. Today I went back early in the morning,, it was pretty full and having troubles to print the labels, it took about 45 minutes waiting in the line to fix their problems and when it was finally my turn the machine stocked again and she told me I had to go somewhere else, instead of try to fix it again. I still have my important package to send with me. Two days loosing time, not good.
