- SSSuleneAug 20, 20261.0I had a really unsettling and unsafe experience at this post office today. There was confusion around the line, many people stopped in front of me. While I was trying to ask the clerk a quick question about dropping off an already-labeled package another customer became verbally aggressive toward me. She yelled at me, made an insulting comment about my body, and the situation felt unpredictable enough that I was genuinely concerned it would become physical. What bothered me most was that no employee stepped in to de-escalate the situation or even checked in with me afterward. In fact, the clerk who was at the window with us only made the woman screaming at me more angry. I ultimately de-escalated the interaction myself. Customers should not be left to manage an aggressive situation on their own while staff stand by and do absolutely nothing. I left feeling shaken and unsafe, and I hope the staff here receive clearer guidance on how to respond when situations like this occur. Terrible experience, could have been avoided.
