No money orders, no stamps, no civility! The worker is obviously stressed but taking it out on the clients is not cool. She yelled at a man who didn’t know English and was using a translating app. She yelled at me because I asked if I could mail a package. I wonder why this location is out of everything? I wonder how long it will take to restock? Is it because we are in Harlem?

What is going on here? I am a big fan of the postal service in general (my grandfather was a mail carrier), and I've generally had good luck at this location. The workers are friendly and knowledgeable...even if the location itself is often dirty, poorly maintained, and low on supplies.
But lately, things really have gone downhill. The past two days (August 17 and 18) I stopped by at around 8:40am (it is supposed to open at 8:30am) to find the post office dark, the doors locked, and no sign of life. Both times I waited until 8:45 or 8:50 before moving on.
Every now and then this location opens 2-3 minutes late, probably due to staffing issues, but this is ridiculous. Government offices are the lifeblood of the community and MUST OPEN ON TIME. There was no notice posted on the door, no explanation, or any further information shared.

I would give 10 stars if I could to Miss Claire Nolan and Miss Kendra for their incredible customer service. I mistakenly sent a wedding dress to 111th st instead of 11th st and only realized after it had been delivered and couldn’t be located in person. Claire and Kendra went above and beyond making calls, taking my info and getting the package back to me the very next day. These women are superheroes!!! Thank you both!!

Rude workers who wouldn’t accept my package. Out of stock of everything. It’s not this way at other locations in the city, just this one. Sad.
