- BBBrandonJul 13, 20261.0They had a note on the door today stating they would open at 9:45AM which is obviously later than the normal opening hours for a USPS office. There was already a line of 6-8 people waiting at the front door. One of the miserable-looking workers came at 9:40AM to unlock the door to let out 1 young man who wasn't in uniform (so why was he even in there?) Immediately after letting him out, the miserable-looking female worker closes the door and makes sure to lock it. Everyone on line rolls their eyes because we know what's about to happen now. Did they open up on time at 9:45AM as the notice stated? Of course not. After 15 minutes at 10AM, another staff finally comes and opens the door to let the line in. No greeting, no apologies for the delay or explanation- just misery in the air and the detached stares of workers who hate their jobs. The only advice I can give those who have to do business here is to prepare and expect for a miserable, grueling experience with workers who very clearly dislike their jobs and serving the people. But don't let this ruin your mood or your day. Because at the end of the day, those miserable workers are the ones who will need to return to this job they so evidently detest, maybe that's the karma in all this
