Very slow, understaffed post office. USPS should have much more staffing in a central New York City location serving thousands of residents and businesses. Estimate 20-30min here for the most basic tasks. The person I dealt with was also quite rude. Someone called me to tell me a package was there for me, what was their name. I didn't get their name. She said if you don't have their name I can't help you. This is incorrect, confrontational and upsetting. Then she asked my name and address and went to get the package.

This place SUCKS. First, they only ever have like 1 or 2 people working the windows. The line is outrageous. And they don’t advertise that you can do most things at the self service kiosks (because they want to keep their jobs presumably). Second, I once had a package stolen. Inside job. I filed a police report and the detective reviewed my building footage, come to find out a USPS worker did not enter my building in the large window surrounding the time my package was marked delivered. When I went to Cooper to speak with someone, they wouldn’t give me more than the name of the person I would need to speak to (“Omar Gabriel”). I asked for phone number, email, they said they couldn’t give me that info. And he was “in a meeting” all 4-5 times I returned hoping to speak with him. I ended up giving up because ain’t nobody got time for that. This is a government employee, mind you. Again, this place SUCKS!

Horribly slow, people waited 45 minutes for one person working. Disgraceful that our government services are so poorly staffed.

I don’t have that big of a problem with this USPS location; the staff do their best, and there are a few dedicated workers, but they need more people working the windows. 4pm, 11 people in line and a single window open 👎

This post office at one point in time had the best crew ever about 15 plus years ago. 4 to 5 clerks just dishing it out "Next, next, step down please, next" with beautiful service. Now? Jesus help us all. If you need a Postal Money Order don't even bother.
