A cavernous hall empty of packing materials, 23 empty booths and one downtrodden worker, with a long line of forlorn people waiting their turn for disappointment. A "web center" that is an eerie empty space where outdated technology has been stripped away. They don't even sell international stamps. Yes, you read that right. Apparently they "sold out". Perhaps last century. Frankly, it feels post apocalyptic.

Tracking showed one attempt was made to mail, but consulate closed and will attempt next business day. That was June 27. No further note in tracking. I tried calling, along with various other USPS agencies that I've reached out to, the Grand Central Post office, but none of us can get through to talk to the Customer Service Manager, because they don't answer the phone, and, their mailbox is always full.
