I reside in the meat packing district of the West Village and operate a shipping carrier company. The majority of my packages are shipped via UPS, the location at 511 6th Ave is extremely convenient, particularly for overnight shipping. My primary point of contact at this location is Ginet, who streamlines the process efficiently. She is knowledgeable, highly professional, and her presence ensures a seamless experience. Numerous clients of mine have also utilized this location and consistently provide positive feedback regarding Ginet's outstanding performance.

I had a package to drop off and I was met with this very beautiful and kind worker named Ginet. She made my experience worth the while. She was very kind and patient with me and worked efficiently. Her customer service and communication skills were immaculate. I hope to encounter this employee at every drop off

Extremely rude, sarcastic, unprofessional, and condescending staff members. I walked in right before the store closed today just to drop off a package with a QR code - the first worker said he didn’t think they could scan it since the store closed. The second worker, who was already ready to leave, kindly scanned my QR code for me. I was apologetic and expressed my appreciation. As I walked out, the first worker mocked me out loud - saying “thank you” in a valley girl accent. If I wasn’t worried that he would sabotage my package, I would have confronted him. Thank you to the second worker who kindly scanned my package. To the first worker, I recommend developing patience, emotional maturity, and professionalism if you’re going to work in customer service. You are cowardly and unhappy in your own life to be openly mocking a customer, who did not cause you ANY harm, to her BACK as she’s walking away.

Recommend over FedEx that is 1 block south. Although the store is a little disorganized, the management and associates are much more efficient and helpful.
Unbelievable! The guy behind the counter wearing the UPS shirt didn't want to pack or ship my item!!! He seemed so incredibly put out that he actually had to..... work. What's up management?
UPDATE
So after getting an apologetic phone call from the manager, they completely screwed me by charging me $672 instead of the $215 they quoted and charged at the UPS Store - a week AFTER I shipped the item and AFTER the item was delivered. No consent was obtained. I would never have used UPS if that was the quote they had given me. FedEx quoted lower and they would not used "extra" wrapping weighing more as an excuse to make me pay more.
