They charged me $3 just to use tape for my box. The whole bundle of tape costed $5. It’s ridiculous.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I dropped off an international return package at this location, and more than 48 hours later the tracking still only showed “Label Created” with no acceptance scan. After contacting UPS customer service multiple times, I returned to the store seeking assistance. Instead of trying to help investigate the issue, I was repeatedly told that there was nothing the store could do. When I continued asking questions because my package was missing, an employee named Malo told me, “You are annoying.” I found this extremely unprofessional and disrespectful, especially considering that I was simply trying to locate a missing package. Mistakes can happen, but the complete lack of accountability, empathy, and customer service was shocking. I left the store with no answers and no assistance.

Notary was rude, uninformed, and unhelpful. I expressed multiple times that my documents legally had to be completed in blue ink. She refused, stated there was a "law" that said it had to be black ink. I showed her a notarized document from a different location 3 days prior in BLUE ink. She said she could "lose her notary license" (clearly untrue - as verified by multiple online sources and every major LLM). She completed notarization in black ink, then still charged me for it, even after I made it clear I couldn't use the forms. She then told me "she didn't want to argue over a $2.00 fee". But the issue wasn't the dollar amount. After 45 minutes of discussion, I just walked to UPS on 3rd ave and THEY NOTARIZED IN BLUE INK immediately without any questions. Biggest waste of time and attention.

UPDATED 5/23 - Response to owner. Wow it is incredibly disappointing to see UPS not take any accountability for the behavior of their employees. I did not mention the upcharge for “packaging” the items as my main issue was their attitude and condescending tones. To add more detail: 1. When I showed up to the counter with my package, the attendants straight up ignored me while I was right in front of them as they continued their conversation about reality TV. When they finally decided to acknowledge me they gave an exasperated sigh and told me to scan my package at the front station. 2. When the kiosk didn’t work and I had to go back to the counter, they again seemed very annoyed that someone dare ask them to do their job. 3. Then they said that we could pay 3$ to tape up our package better but it was our choice. When we said we didn’t want to tape up the package more because that’s how the package was shipped to us, they said okay well now we’re not accepting the package. To which we were like we thought you said it was our choice?? Very confusing and felt like they were just trying to up charge us and be difficult. To reiterate, the main issue was their attitude and that they clearly didn’t want to be there. If they had been kind and said “please go to the Kiosk in the back for this return” instead of “ugh go to the kiosk in the back” in a very exasperated tone. Or “we’re so sorry we can’t ship the package if it’s not properly taped, and it’s our policy to charge $3 for that service” I would have had a much better experience. Seriously, please teach your workers how to work in customer service and don’t hire people who clearly don’t want to be there. And take accountability for the poor behavior of your employees. It’s clear from ALL the one star reviews of this location that the employees are extremely rude and unprofessional. Original review - I’d give negative stars if I could. The behavior of the staff at this store is completely unprofessional and rude. I went here around 7pm on 5/21 for some Amazon returns and the staff CLEARLY does not want to work. They were extremely rude basically ignoring me while I waited for service chatting about love is blind or some other reality show. They were so unhelpful and condescending and rude throughout the entire process. It really is shameful that UPS doesn’t do a better job screening for employees that actually want to be there and help customers.
