    I go to this UPS location for mailing and notary services since they opened. Everyone there has always been very kind, helpful and respectful. I can't sing their praises enough for how they handle rush hour when they have multiple customers waiting for services and they continue to remain kind and respectful. However, today's experience leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The lack of professionalism to handle a situation where their store is overcharging and breaking the law for notary service is appalling. He said I should find another notary because I requested to be charged $2 for a notary signature instead of $3 and implied I made a ruckus to save $1. This isn't about saving money. He is breaking the law and overcharging for the service yet made me feel as if I was in the wrong. New York State Law caps notary fee at $2 per signature. It's on the NYS website. Additionally, it's also on the UPS website that it's $2 per signature in their FAQ. Even though at the end I was charged $2 for the service, it felt like he was doing me a favor when in actuality, it's him abiding by NYS notary law. And to directly tell me to find another notary? Very disappointing experience.
