I had a very disappointing experience at this particular Staples while trying to print some photographs. The employee working in the photo-printing department was extremely rude and unprofessional. Rather than providing assistance, she appeared reluctant to help and seemed to avoid assisting me with the printing process. Her attitude and manner of communication were unpleasant and made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable as a customer. I understand that employees can be busy, but I believe every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy, patience, and respect. Unfortunately, the level of customer service I received fell far below reasonable expectations. I hope Staples management addresses this matter and reinforces the importance of professionalism, courtesy, and customer assistance among its employees. Customers should be able to expect a respectful and helpful experience when visiting the store.

The staff are extremely unhelpful and inconsiderate. First instance — Came in for a .50 notebook, and the employee asked if I wanted to sign up for rewards. I said no. He then proceeded to ask for my phone number and email anyways. I thought it was standard for checking out, but apparently he signed me up for an account. He then proceeded to say “it wasn’t that difficult was it”. Mind you, there was a long line behind me. This was non-consensual and a waste of other customers’ and my time. Second instance — needed 5 pages printed on special paper. Ordered online, shouldn’t be too difficult to get 5 sheets of paper right? Employee who worked the printing center said I had to wait until the actual pickup time and that there was a huge backlog. I then asked if she could just give me 5 sheets of the special paper I requested and print it out on the self service printers on the side. She said that they don’t do that, which I know is false since other staples locations allow for this. She just didn’t want to help out. I have had positive experiences with other Staples, but this location is plagued by poor service. The slogan for Staples is “That was easy”. For this location, that was NOT easy.

I had the absolute BEST experience with your print and marketing department yesterday at the 767 broadway location. TALLY is truly a godsend and was able to meet the needs of a very important print that I needed by 3pm. She also gave me guidance and ease to take the subway (by myself) for the first time in my life. <3 I was a bit stressed, but she helped so much to ensure I succeeded yesterday.
