    My experience with Robert Half has been extremely disappointing and has potentially cost me a life-changing opportunity. I was working on assignment at Adobe/CBRE and had already begun discussions about transitioning into a full-time permanent role. I worked hard, proved myself on-site, built relationships with the team, and genuinely saw a future there. Unfortunately, everything changed because of a background check issue that was flagged by Pro-Advantage — an issue that had already been dismissed and resolved. Despite me immediately providing documentation proving the matter was closed, there was little sense of urgency in resolving the situation. Instead of taking the time to properly investigate before removing me from the site, I was abruptly taken off assignment, which completely jeopardized my opportunity for permanent employment. What makes this even more frustrating is the lack of communication throughout the process. My recruiter, Gigi, stopped responding to my calls and text messages during one of the most stressful moments of my career. When someone’s livelihood and future are on the line, communication and professionalism matter. Being left in the dark while trying to clear up a misunderstanding was incredibly discouraging. The worst part is that this situation could have been avoided with better handling and faster follow-up. I understand companies have policies, but there should also be fairness, proper review, and urgency when a candidate provides proof that an issue has already been dismissed. Instead, I feel like I was treated as disposable after dedicating my time and energy to the assignment. Now I’m back to square one looking for work in an already difficult job market, after believing I was finally close to securing stable full-time employment. The emotional and financial stress this has caused has been overwhelming. I expected more accountability, communication, and support from a staffing agency that is supposed to advocate for its workers. Sadly, my experience with Robert Half did not reflect that at all.

    I don't not understand why hire people who give attitude towards those calling Like they're upset that someone called in. Understand, when you raise your voice for no reason to make yourself feel better about your position. It displays how frail and small you life really is. Robert Half are your employees professionals?

    Before working with Robert Half, I honestly didn’t believe much in finding a job through staffing agencies. In the past, recruiters would call me, ask about my experience, say I qualified for some jobs, and submit my resume. After that, I usually never heard back from them. That changed when Chris Richards from Robert Half contacted me through LinkedIn. I had never applied to him before. He asked if I was interested in a role he thought I might be a good fit for. I agreed because I thought there was no harm in trying. Chris was very helpful throughout the whole process. He submitted my resume for the job and also sent me a list of job openings every week. If I saw something that matched my experience, he would help me apply for it. Before each interview, he called me to help me prepare and always followed up afterward. At the time, I was working in person while applying for jobs. Robert Half even allowed me to use their office for Zoom interviews during my lunch break, which was very helpful. Thanks to Chris’s help, I was able to land a fully remote permanent position with good benefits and a great work-life balance. This experience showed me that having a good recruiter really makes a difference. I’ve been working at my new job for two weeks already, and he still asks me how my new job is going. He’s a very caring person.
