- MVMel V2 days ago2.0I shipped items after a business meeting that I attended. I shipped ground knowing that it was 5 days to get from NYC to CA. This location held my package for 4 DAYS before having picked up and now it will be 5 days later than what is stated on my receipt. Had I known that they would be so laxed and not care about getting ground packages out on time, I would have selected overnight or found a local UPS. This is unacceptable and has now put me in an awkward position with the customer that I needed these items for. They also had no problem charging me a $15 handling fee for essentially taping up a box that I also purchased from them for an additional $10. It seemed convenient having this location right in the hotel, but the convenience is negated by the disregard for getting packages out as promised. Do better FedEx Marriott Marquis!

They charge and extra $10 to ship because they are located in a hotel and the agent who I worked with told me the item I was shipping would arrive by a specific date after I told him the importance of the package arriving on time. When I checked the tracking the date was moved to 3 days later and the package I was sending was time sensitive. I called and was put on with an agent, who then put me on with customer service who said there is nothing they could do even after I was told that there should be no issue with the date I provided that the package needed to be delivered by. UNACCEPTABLE.
