  I thought Foley SS was great. Timing for my Licenses Renewal was plenty before its due date. Upon completion, my Cert was sent right away. I would definitely recommend them to any Security Guard who wants to attend an online course. Will definitely use them in the future. Tom Arcara

  My instructor was Doug Varcoe. Doug runs the kind of concealed carry course that reminds you why experience matters. His decades on the range with the NYPD and his years perfecting his own marksmanship show up in every minute of instruction. He reads shooters the way a seasoned coach reads a young pitcher, catching the flinch before it becomes a flinch, the grip drift before the next round leaves the muzzle, the stance creep before you’ve even noticed your weight shifted. He’ll quietly step in, adjust a thumb, reset a trigger finger, or reframe how you’re thinking about the sights, and suddenly the the group tightens. I personally went from a 20 inch pattern to a 4 inch pattern With Doug adjusting just two things I was doing wrong. Nothing is rushed and nothing is condescending. He treats first time permit applicants and long time gun owners with the same professionalism, and his classroom instruction on New York law, safe storage, and use of force decision-making is just as sharp as his range work. By the end of the course you walk away, not only qualified, but genuinely more confident, and far more thoughtful about carrying. My wife and I took this course together and the first words out of her mouth after the course was “he made me feel safe and that I really could do it.” This from a woman who is leaning back from the gun and flinching at first who was putting every round in “the circles” by her second magazine. LOL! If you’re looking for a CCW instructor who has actually trained the people who trained the police, Doug is the one to call and this is where you can find him.

  The pistol permit certificate course was a very informative, interesting and engaging class. I thought it was taught incredibly well by the highly experienced instructors. Many of the examples of scenarios that they provided made sense and really drove home all the points of being a responsible gun holder. I would recommend everyone to take this course at this location! Thank you for making it fun.
