Consistently don't leave package notification slips in my mailbox when I have packages waiting. Small town joint that seems to operate by their own rules. No accountability, no professionalism.

For the past 6 years (minus the time during this pandemic) I have worked outside of the county, which meant leaving my home before the post office opened and returning home after they closed. This means that I was not able to pick up my mail for months at a time. The previous Post Master suggested that I ring the back doorbell of the post office @ 4:30 am and they would give me my mail. There were times I was there at that time, and no one had arrived to work yet and I had to leave. I have requested that they deliver the mail to my home. Because if it's delivered to my home mailbox it wouldn't matter when I arrived home, as I would be able to access it. I am was told a lot of things in the process of why they couldn't deliver my mail, some of the information given to me contradicted some of the previous information they had given me. In the end, what is really happening is they don't want to change their postal route. Even though the post office delivery people drive back and forth in front of my house daily and my neighbors to my left get their mail delivered.
