  Please tell me why the female employee with the glasses gets annoyed because customers are confused about how to use the scanner. Rolling her eyes because she had to come out from behind the counter. This is the second time I have been to this Massapequa Park location and the second time this employee had a bad attitude.

  Unfortunately, my experience at the Massapequa FedEx Office has been very disappointing. I have visited this location three different times to print and send important documents. There is an employee, a woman with glasses who speaks Spanish. When we ask if she can help us in Spanish, she initially says yes and tells us which email address to send the documents to. However, after that, she walks away and leaves us without any further assistance. She knows that we do not speak English, but instead of helping us or explaining our needs to her coworkers, she simply avoids assisting us. We end up having to use a translator to communicate with the other employees. As a customer, this made me feel discriminated against because I do not speak English. The saddest part is that she does speak Spanish and could easily provide basic assistance, but chooses not to. In contrast, there used to be another employee whose first language was English, yet she always made an effort to speak Spanish and treated us with kindness, patience, and respect. I also witnessed the employee with glasses speak harshly to her in front of customers, which I found very unprofessional. FedEx should make sure that every customer is treated with respect, regardless of the language they speak. Kindness, empathy, and good customer service make a big difference. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that other customers do not have the same experience.

  Llegué para enviar unos documentos y le pregunté a una empleada que usa gafas cuál era el correo electrónico de FedEx para enviar mis documentos, imprimirlos allí y luego enviarlos por FedEx a su destino. Le hablé en español porque ella también habla español. En el momento en que le hablé en español, su expresión y su actitud cambiaron por completo. Me trató de manera diferente, me dejó esperando mientras se fue a realizar otras tareas y no quiso atenderme. En lugar de ayudarme, envió a otra persona. Mientras yo seguía esperando, atendían a otros clientes y durante un buen rato me sentí completamente ignorada. Finalmente, un joven muy amable me atendió y me brindó el servicio que necesitaba, por lo cual le agradezco. Sin embargo, considero que la conducta de la empleada fue inaceptable. Me sentí discriminada por hablar español, especialmente porque ella también habla ese idioma. Ningún cliente debería recibir un trato diferente por el idioma que habla. Las personas que trabajan en atención al público deben tratar a todos con respeto, profesionalismo e igualdad. Espero que FedEx investigue esta situación y tome las medidas necesarias para evitar que otros clientes tengan que pasar por una experiencia similar.
