- CCcasperJul 12, 20231.0i have been getting jerked around for 9 days straight by these people, my package was scanned as out for delivery on july 3rd, then scanned again as delivered to my parcel locker. when i opened my mailbox there was no key for the parcel locker. i have called every business day since then, practically begging them to locate my package (which shouldn’t have been lost in the first place being that there was step by step tracking) they kept telling me what i wanted to hear, multiple times they told me that they would call me right back, that they would send somebody to find it, and they never did. it is now day 9, and after calling them at 9 o'clock, i was told once again that they would call me right back, 10:15 rolls around and still no call, so i call again and finally they decide to tell me that they can’t find the package and that i need to submit a claim. there is no dollar amount that they can give me to make this right. that package was very important to me. the package came all the way from illinois, it was probably handled by multiple competent people, but the moment it arrived in manorville and was under the care of these people, it was game over. USPS is run by the federal government, so none of what i’m saying matters and nothing will come of it, this review is just to let everybody know how horrible these people are at their job. i was very patient and polite with these people until today, one of the ladies i spoke to on the phone earlier even had the nerve to put me on hold without warning in the middle of me speaking. again, bad reviews don’t matter when it comes to the government, its like leaving a bad review on your local DMV, they’re always gonna be awful, but from now on i’ll be using literally any other mailing service whenever i need to send something out, these people cannot be trusted with handling anything important.
