The staff is very rude and they just like to chit chat with each other and not help customers. I was here to pick up my package and the lady literally told me to come back later because she couldn’t get my package since it was buried under other packages. When I went back later, they told me that my package was loaded back in the delivery truck even though I had a slip that said I need to go in person to pick it up!

According to the tracking, USPS marked my package as “Delivered, In/At Mailbox.” However, this shipment was a large box, so it could not possibly fit in my mailbox. The package is nowhere to be found. It appears that USPS either delivered it to the wrong address or marked it as delivered without actually delivering it. This is not a funny situation, and unfortunately it isn’t the first time I’ve had this problem with USPS. Every time I see that USPS is handling my package, I worry because of incidents like this. Could you please help me investigate this or advise me on the next steps? I would really appreciate your assistance. I would appreciate a resolution as soon as possible, as I still have not received my order despite the tracking showing it was delivered.

Extremely rude staff. They assume everyone should know all the process and self service themselves. If that’s the case what are they being paid for?

Why can’t y’all fire the old guy that never delivers packages on his route in Sunnyside? He’s notoriously a menace and frankly nobody that work for usps likes him because he doesn’t do his job! Doesn’t even attempt delivery, never leaves notices, doesn’t even go to the buildings. This has been happening for 8 months now. I’ve spoken to at least 5 different usps employees that are livid. I know unions are strong, but come on…I belong to a nyc union but I know I would be fired if I didn’t do my job!!! Get it together.

I went into the post office regarding a question with my passport. I attempted to explain my situation and brought the necessary documents. I had come the day before with an appointment to renew my passport. I had brought my photo, forms, former passport, and driver license as well as photo copies. The lady at the window told me I had needed my brith certificate as well but they could still send it out and they might send me a letter where I'd send in a photocopy. I came in today with a photo copy of my birth certificate in case they hadn't sent it out or I could send the birth certificate perhaps today with the receipt so rather than wait for the letter to go back and forth I could just send it now and make the process faster, all hypotheticals but I figured worth a try, the worst is that nothing can be done. I didn't demand anything I just wasn't sure about the process obviously I misunderstood the website as I thought I only needed one form of proof of citizenship. It would have been perfectly fine if I had been told simply that nothing could be done. However I gave my documents the woman in the window( I didn't get her exact name but I believe it was salma, something along those lines it began with an s and had a few a's in it she was a middle aged woman) I attempted to explain my situation but was not met with much of a response. The she asked me a few questions about my appointment which I answered the final being about what the post officer yesterday had told me and I explained about the letter and she yelled goodbye at me. I had just wanted to ask about the process and see if there was anything I could do I would have been happy to accept that there wasn't. And when I tired to ask her another question she yelled goodbye at me again. A simple I'm sorry you'll just have to wait for the letter there's nothing that can me done now would have been perfectly fine, it's terribly rude to treat anyone by yelling and dismissing them. There was a man in the window who explained to me professionally that nothing could be done which is all I wanted the know. I believe that all service should be meet with some level of professionalism. I understand that people have bad days and can be impatient but a customer shouldn't be yelled at and dismissed in that way. I also understand that customers can be overly demanding and unreasonable. I just wanted ask a few questions about a process I didn't understand, i didn't yell or complain.i don't believe I came off as overly demanding and I understand that my question required a decent bit of context but I really believe the situation could have been handled better.
