  Probably the WORST Staples ever. The staff are uninterested in helping customers and act like helping is below them. The store always looks filthy and the bins in the back look like a third world street sale.

  At 4:00 PM on Tuesday afternoon, August 4, I went to the Staples in Kingston for a specific cable which I could not find. I then went to the only open register where two employees were speaking to each other. I patiently waited for them while they continued talking; one of the employees noticed me and walked away. When I was about to ask my question, the woman working the register called out to the coworker walking away (right over me), 'I want to go home at 5:00 PM today if that’s okay.' That’s when I walked out the door. While I understand the need to have a conversation with a colleague at work, it is bad business when a customer is completely unacknowledged. I gave two stars instead of one as I have often had good experiences at this store; this was simply not one of them, and I felt compelled to share this to provide your management team with a learning opportunity.

  It is a shame five employees that I can physically see 15 minutes waiting for somebody in print and marketing essentially to get off the phone. I can hear print and marketing has a call on hold. Meanwhile, there’s multiple people at another register doing little to nothing and you’re telling me nobody could jump in and say oh Sean might be overwhelmed right now he’s dealing with the phone and there’s at least two gentlemen waiting for Him. It is a damn shame the only time that place seems to function properly is when Suzie is working.

  The customer service person, Iad, was texting on his private phone the whole time he was intermittently assisting me with my Amazon returns. Very disrespectful.

  Very inconsistent help at the Amazon return center..Grateful its moved and don't have to deal with printing staff to begrudgingly help..But there's a trio of young women who arent trained to even speak to a customer all I got was a mutter of "you're all set". Using down time to gossip & talk shit about customers.Not appropriate. A very loud 1 ready to jump on me after I very nicely inquired if amazon center was still temporarily closed . Yes I saw sign but it could of been forgotten to be taken down..So I changed my return to UPS never an attitude there. Seems training staff to be polite has always been an issue in Kingston.
