- PPPollyJul 19, 20261.0I had a frustrating experience at the post office today while trying to renew my child's passport. I had an appointment at 1:30 PM and arrived at 1:15 PM. We waited patiently until our appointment time. However, when we approached the window at 1:30 PM, the staff member told us to wait outside the ropes. I explained that it was already 1:30 PM, but she said the appointment was overbooked. I ended up waiting outside until 2:00 PM, yet no one attended to us during that time. Despite several staff members being present, no one checked in or offered assistance. Frustrated, I walked inside to ask how much longer we would have to wait. The situation felt chaotic and disorganized, which was very disappointing, especially since I had taken time out of my day for the appointment. I expected better service and hope they can improve in the future.

I just wanted to ask a simple question about where to leave a package, but the young female clerk at the counter interrupted me mid-sentence and treated me with such hostility. She claimed she was "too busy" processing a passport application, even though she was just standing there while the customer was filling out forms. Zero respect for customers. Avoid this place if you don’t want to be insulted for no reason.
- CVCatelyn VansJul 3, 20261.0So the two nasty workers at this location wouldn’t let me get my passport done because I didn’t bring my “passport card” in that day When I didn’t want to get a renewed card.. so I had to wait a whole week I went to the Stewart Ave location on my day off of work to get my passport done, and I brought my passport card this time - the ladies there told me I DIDNT EVEN NEED TO BRING IN MY PASSPORT CARD bc I wasn’t getting that one re done. So I just wasted an entire week and my time because the people at this garden city location are so incompetent. DO NOT GO TO THE GC MALL LOCATION!!
- LTLiu TimJun 30, 20261.0Two postal employees were chatting with each other instead of assisting customers. They refused to provide service, causing unnecessary delays and wasting taxpayers’ money. The two employees were Black women, which I mention only to help identify the individuals involved. I respectfully request that this incident be investigated and that appropriate action be taken.
