  Needed to ship something back to a retailer and was told to package the item in a box, attach the UPS label sent via email, and drop off at a UPS store. The man at the UPS store said I needed to buy a box from them. I told him my item was already in a box. He then told me that I needed to have a box with a special circular seal on the bottom of the box and this was UPS policy. I paid for a box then he handed me a slip. Upon returning home I realized the slip never included the box I paid for. Further investigation and contacting UPS customer service, I found out that UPS allows customers to use their own boxes. The man at this location lied to me to make a sale. The amount of the sale is not the issue but the shady tactic used to make a sale is the problem. Customers be wary and do not let the staff bully you into making an unnecessary purchase! I wonder how many other customers he has lied to so he could make a sale. Shameful!

  You know, sometimes when you return an Amazon package, you get a QR code and sometimes you have to print out a return label. If you don’t have a printer, they’ll charge you a dollar in there to print out the label which is more than fair but this time I went in and they didn’t like the box that the return item was in,it was how it was shipped to me by Amazon OK, I said how much for a box it was a small little box $9.99 for the box Plus, the fellow said that he had a package in so I guess it’s $10 to put the item in a box and put tape on itYou have free returns with Amazon, but UPS steps in and squashes that so much better to return to a Whole Foods or a Kohl’s UPS is just a money grab if you have to go be prepared, bring your own tape bring your own box better yet don’t go
