I arrived at 9:30 AM for my passport appointment scheduled for 10:15 AM. When I arrived, the employee in charge asked if I had an appointment and what time it was. After I told her it was at 10:15 AM, she simply said, “You have to wait.” The office was not busy, yet when my appointment time arrived, I was still waiting with no explanation or update. The employee saw me multiple times during my wait but never communicated the status of my appointment. In the end, a different employee assisted me. After my appointment, I asked for the manager’s name, but the employee refused to provide it. What was even more concerning was that when it came time to pay, the customer service rating screen appeared on the terminal. Before I had a chance to respond, the employee pressed the green happy-face rating herself. Customer feedback should be left by the customer, not selected by an employee. Between the lack of communication, poor customer service, and the handling of the feedback screen, this was a very disappointing experience.

Horrible experience. Please do not come here and waste your time. Rude staff they don’t care about you at all. They expect you to know everything and do everything yourself. They will not help you and are very rude.

Franklin Square post office is great. I know some of the clerks names but not all therefore I won't mention any names because they are all great. I am stunned by negative reviews. For decades I have been going to the Franklin Square post office and have found the clerks to be kind helpful friendly knowledgeable an all around great bunch of people. Sincerely , Mary Carr

The staff was very rude and the passport service was ridiculous. I went there with my baby and arrived only 15 minutes late. They made me wait for three hours and handled all the customers who had appointments after mine before finally seeing me at the end of the day. My baby is only 6 months old and is exclusively breastfed. There was no proper place for me to feed my baby, and they did not seem to care that my baby was crying and hungry. It felt like I was being punished just for being 15 minutes late. Very disappointing experience.
