  Bittersweet location. Staff is great. They’re knowledgeable and kind. But i don’t know if it’s a lack of manpower, but something has got to change in regards to how many people are working at the window. This community is being underserved. Theres no reason I have to drive out to Long Island or the other end of the peninsula for faster service because it takes longer to wait in line at this location than it does to drive to another location. And if I’m dropping off packages, or anyone else for that matter, we shouldn’t feel indirectly pressured to just drop them off without a receipt, risking a package to go missing, or risk getting charged an unforeseen fee, because it’s either drop it off and hope for the best to be able to continue with life, or wait 45 minutes on line. Every other time I come here it’s like waiting at the DMV. I also want to point out that the one person at the window shouldn’t feel pressured because of the 20 anxious sets of eyes staring them down to hurry up or do something about the situation.

  I've been here (still here at 3:00 pm on Monday the 27th if you care to check cameras ) I was the 6tg person in line at 2:30. After 30 minutes they finally called the next person in line. And I'm guessing it's going to be as long for everyone as there is one slow person at the window. And the heat is terrible

  Long waits, not enough tellers. Place hasn't been updated in decades. Customer service is horrible.

  Rude and disrespect and understaff don’t catch an attitude based on whatever problem you have at work or at home. this facility needs people that wants to work.

  This is one of the worst post offices I have ever been to. For the last couple of months I have had an issue with the supervisor/couriers of the Far Rockaway location scanning packages as "delivered, parcel locker" when parcel locker doesn't even exist and no mail person is even on site to deliver as a way to cheat the system and make it look like they are doing their jobs. If I am lucky the package will arrive many business days later but I have had cases when nothing shows up at all and you cant make a claim because the systems sees it as delivered. They figure since its this particular neighborhood they can do whatever they want and no one will care or even have the knowledge to report this horrible behavior. If you have had any issues please go to the USPS site then to the "email US" page and make a complaint so the higher-ups can know what's going on and maybe do something about it.
