I was trying to set up Zelle on my account and the banker Joseph Erhard who was helping me wanted to update my information when I told them the name on my license he told me that was incorrect because it’s not what they had I explained to this man that once I got my naturalization documents they informed me I could put whatever name I’d like and he said “I don’t think that’ll fly bc we need real documents like a marriage certificate from the courts” the man was clearly being it ignorant and racist. After being a member of this bank for over 15 years I couldn’t believe this was the treatment I was receiving.
- DMDaizy MaeDec 9, 20221.0Editing my review to one stat because apparently Chemung Canal has changed their hours to 9-4, which makes it extremely difficult for patrons like me, who have jobs and work 8-4 or 9-5 to get there. Nothing like putting the customer last. Only one drive through lane and it's seriously the SLOWEST of all the branches, every time. So annoying.
- AAApril AnnDec 11, 20171.0Upon entering the bank two workers could not politely greet my daughter and I so I said good morning which seemed to give them a chuckle. Upon leaving my 6 year old daughter said have a nice day to these same women again to receive laughter. Is this how common practice. Disappointed.
