  The clerk at the counter of this post office is aggressively helpful, for a lack of better terminology. I have literally walked in to a line of 5+ people and her ARGUING with the customer at the counter. I went the other day to mail a package and she literally HAD to start this roll of packaging tape for the customer PRIOR to ringing her out because "shes so good at it" when there's multiple people waiting to be helped still, and i am CONFIDENT that customer was capable; then she WOULDN'T SCAN the QR code for my label unless I laid my cell phone down? [Last I checked thats MY $1k+ phone, not hers!] & then like BERATES me when I say "I can hold my own phone" about how some lady said she 'lasered her in the eye'- which like, if you did so, ELAINE, then thats on YOU because the scan guns have a TRIGGER BUTTON on them. I literally am about to drive further away because literally every single time I go here it dampers my day because of her attitude...... also she WATCHES every person as they do the "survey" on the card reader and if you don't hit the smiley HER DEMEANOR CHANGES

  Idk who the older lady is that works there but she humiliated me with a line of people behind me. I last minute needed to apply for a passport and was told to go to the nearest post office. She laughed in my face with and told me “well you need to go to a post office who does passports” OK WELL tell me where to go without making a huge deal out of it. Then I walk away and she proceeds to yell “AND MAKE AN APPOINTMENT OTHERWISE THEYLL ALL LAUGH AT YOU LIKE THIS” 0/10 experience. I just moved to the area too. Bad customer service.

  The lady at the front counter needs to go. Every time I go here I pray she’s not working but she is ALWAYS there. I didn’t want the receipt ripped off of the top of my money order. I told her this three times and then she proceeds to grab the scissors to cut it off like I didn’t just ask her not to. She argued with me for about 5 minutes about how she HAS to do it. Like lady no you don’t… I had to literally snatch it out of her hands. She’s rude, snippy and just simply doesn’t show good customer service. Every time my experience is the same.

  If you live in the area you will be unlucky enough to have to deal with this post office. It is not uncommon to have your mail tracking say "Arrived at USPS Facility, COHOES, NY 12047" and then have it sit there for a week before receiving it. I had a valuable small package which required signature delivery, my mail carrier quickly left a note in my mailbox saying undeliverable- despite me taking time off of work to be at home to receive it. I went online to process to have it delivered the next day, and waited at the front door for the carrier the next morning. I caught him, he said he did not have anything, but I'm fee to go to the post office to ask for it. Off I went, and began waiting in the lobby starting at 9:15 am. Despite posted business hours opening at 9:30 am, it wasn't until 9:50 am that an employee came out and leisurely arranged the lobby while four of us stood in line. As the first one up, I told her I was looking for my package. She stopped me so she could slowly login to the computer. Then she went looking, and came back empty handed. I said I would like to speak with a postmaster. He's not in yet. I waited 10 more minutes (I've been here nearly an hour now) before a gentleman comes into the office, and I cut the line to remind her I want my package. She shows my slip to the gentleman who says "it was right here last night," "ah yes here it is". It was ten feet away from her, on the counter, clear as day. She hands it to me, without having me sign or identify myself. I didn't care, I could not get out of there faster.

  Clerk in service window seems to be unaware the 5 people standing in line are on time schedules also. She rambles on with irrelevant stories and product variations available. ALL I WANT IS A STAMP!!! We are not splitting the atom here. Stop wasting peoples time and frustrating them till they walk out after standing in line for 20 minutes.
