Following the interaction I had with you sale associate, Im done with your store. I was making an Amazon return. I waited respectfully in line, was actually in a great mood. I walk up and the associated at the counter . Stops gives me a look stares at me like I said something offensive. ....I said hello. ...she said "im reading your shirt." My shirt said Racism, ine thing white people who take create for ....she continued in silence and Standish . I waited for my friend, I watch as this women act 💯 different. Nice to know your store employs ppl like her. I said nothing offensive. she made the choice to read my shirt. she failed to provide any customer service and showed how racist is alive. so now this is where you give the canned answer.....we regret to hear that our Clay store did not meet your expectations. We thank you for providing this feedback. We always strive to provide the best experience possible for all shoppers.

Apparently I’m at the stage of life where I’m writing a review for Staples. Is it because I have kids going back to school? Is it because I secretly love office supplies? Or is my life just incredibly boring? We may never know. But honestly, I love this place. It always feels like no one is actually running the store, which sounds like a criticism, but for me it’s basically paradise. It’s quiet, it’s empty, and I can stand in the pen and planner aisles for an unreasonable amount of time contemplating all of my options without anyone bothering me. Living the dream. The pricing is also fascinating. Things are either wildly expensive or so insanely on sale that you feel like you’ve committed some sort of retail crime. There is absolutely no middle ground. My snack-loving heart is always delighted when I make my way to that strange little mismatched section of office supplies and miscellaneous nonsense, where I am greeted by what has to be the largest barrel of cheese puffs known to mankind. Why does Staples have a giant barrel of cheese puffs? I have no idea. Why do I care? I don’t. I’m buying it. The kids have their school supplies. I have orange fingers. Everyone wins.
