However, I came here to get my passport applicate looked at and signed and I knew more about the actual process then the employee whose job it was to do this, and instead of looking at the birth certificate I had and saying that I needed to take a five minute drive to town hall and speak with the county clerk and get a certified birth certificate, she let me submit my hospital birth certificate. Now I'm going to have to spend more money to get this rushed because a post office employee didn't know how to do her own job.
