- RKR KJun 29, 20261.0Refused a Package for No Valid Reason I came in to ship an item packed in a clean Amazon box with all previous labels removed. I was told it couldn’t be accepted by USPS because it was packed in an Amazon box. I went directly from there to another USPS location with the exact same package, and they accepted it immediately, smiled, and wished me a great day. No issue whatsoever. So either the employees at this location don’t know USPS policy, or they simply didn’t feel like doing their jobs. It wasn’t even a matter of the employees being overwhelmed or too busy. I was the only customer there (which, considering the customer service, wasn’t exactly surprising). After my experience, I looked through the reviews and found someone else describing the exact same thing: they were told USPS couldn’t accept a clean Amazon box with the previous labels removed. Apparently, this isn’t an isolated incident. This kind of arbitrary customer service reflects poorly on USPS as a whole. Customers shouldn’t have to wonder whether their package will be accepted based solely on which employee happens to be working that day.
