So, here’s the deal. No one likes going to 9th St because the post office is like the DMV had a baby with the prison from Midnight Express… so you go to this small little cute post office in Windsor village. Good idea? Bad idea! The clerk will be adamant you can’t use this post office… you need to go to 9th st to send anything… 1. This is nonsense 2. This is actually violating USPS rules 3. They don’t care they just don’t want to be overwhelmed. If you smile like Lilian Gish and claim stupidity they then may make an exception to take your parcel but then be warned… they’ll take you back to school and scold you like you’re 8 for putting an apartment number on a second line… they’ll make you feel 1 inch tall by the end which I sense is their whole plan to avoid more people from 9th st trying to use Windsor terrace. Why these gremlins of the high street haven’t been fired yet goes beyond me.

Unfortunately have to visit this place multiple times a week. You could do everything right and be as pleasant as possible, and they’ll still figure out a way to say something nasty to you.
There’s rarely more than one person working, which leads to slow moving lines.
Do better!

The staff member I interacted with was rude, dismissive, and spoke in a condescending tone the entire time. Instead of helping, they seemed more interested in shutting down questions and creating confusion by citing “rules” that don’t appear to exist.
Customer service here feels inconsistent and unprofessional. If you’re not going to assist customers or provide accurate information, it defeats the purpose of being there. I left without resolving my issue. Zero stars

This is, without question, the most dysfunctional post office I've ever visited. Zero stars.
Mailing a package should have taken five minutes. Instead, it took over 40, and I ultimately went to UPS and gladly paid more instead.
After waiting 20 minutes behind only a handful of customers, the clerk immediately began creating obstacles instead of helping. My package was properly labeled with old markings covered, but she refused to accept it because it was sealed with "the wrong tape", insisting I completely re-tape the box before she would process it. This was an issue that had never been raised during previous visits.
That attitude. Every interaction was delivered with condescension, barking orders and insisting, "It's always been this way." Incorrect.
After reading the reviews here, I realized my experience wasn't unique. Customers have been describing the same problems for years: hostility, inconsistency, needless bureaucracy, and painfully slow service.
USPS has enough challenges without locations making routine errands unnecessarily miserable. Windsor Terrace deserves management that values efficiency, consistency, and basic professionalism.
