It’s not necessary because no one is ever working even though we have plenty of staff in the back. It is always one employee that doesn’t want to be there managing one window. The community deserves better. It’s embarrassing to the name. Shut this office down immediately

They depend on one person to process the applications, and if the person happens to be out sick, there’s nothing they can do for you, despite a confirmed appointment. We showed up to our long-scheduled appointment with our son on a Saturday morning, passport photos and all documents in hand, just to be told, sorry, the person is out sick. No notice of cancellation. How is this acceptable? You would expect any official passport processing center to have a system in place to deliver on confirmed appointments.

Two weeks in a row we made appointments, took her out of school, took off work - and both times the *only* person they have trained for passport applications didn’t show up. The other staff were even more frustrating. I’ve never experienced so much disrespect for people’s time, no apologies for the inconvenience, no care for their jobs. Just pure attitude, almost as if they thought it was funny. There were 6 of us waiting in line at the passport window for 30 minutes, and they just left us there. Only when someone went to a normal window (literally next to passport window 5) did we overhear the woman say “There are no passports today. She didn’t show up.” — as if we were supposed to somehow know. No note or announcement that passports would not be processed, they just had us waiting around. We asked to speak with a supervisor and she kept us waiting another 20 minutes, only to offer no solutions. They are truly the worst.
