  Great store Just Amazon line could use some fixing... It's usually a really long wait. if you guys could put folding chairs on line it would make it easier to wait there.

  I really like Staples. They have a great selection of office supplies, school supplies, printing services, and many other useful things. The store is usually well organized, and the customer service is good. I mostly come here for Amazon returns, which is very convenient. However, the return process can sometimes take quite a while — usually around 30 minutes to an hour, especially when the store is busy. Sometimes the process feels a little slow. Overall, I like Staples and appreciate having Amazon returns available here. I just wish the return process could be a little faster.

  I am approaching my 60s, and this is the very first time in my life writing a post like this online. I am writing this in the sincere hope that the store manager or HR manager at Staples reads it. I don't know anything personal about this employee. I was simply waiting in line for my turn at Staples when a young employee caught my attention. He greeted every single customer with a bright smile and communicated so warmly and effectively. In a large, often heavy and quiet store, his positive energy shone remarkably bright. Every customer leaving him said the exact same thing: "You're the best!" He is so exceptionally good at his job that if I were still running my own business like I used to, I would have offered him a job on the spot. His first name is Aden (I do not know his last name), and he mentioned he has been working at Staples for about two weeks. I am deeply grateful for his radiant energy, proactive attitude, and dedicated work ethic. In a fast-paced and often cold city like New York, having someone welcome you with such a warm and genuine smile is a true gift. Thank you for reading this.

  This is 100% unacceptable. Ever since the Staples on Avenue Y and Ocean Avenue closed and stopped accepting Amazon returns, this location has become overwhelmed. There should be a minimum of two employees just like they had on Ocean Ave and Ave Y dedicated to Amazon returns during busy times. Having one person process dozens of Amazon returns while other employees stand at the front doing nothing but standing behind empty registers creates unnecessarily long wait times and a frustrating customer experience. Management needs to do a much better job of staffing and responding to the increased demand. It's disappointing that this situation continues instead of being addressed. Customers shouldn't have to wait this long for a simple return because of poor staffing decisions. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary changes. Learn how to manage your store better and how to assign proper staffing in areas needed more than others, Jillian H or Michelle. All I see is you replying to numerous customers about discussing with store management yet nothing is being done to rectify this ongoing issue.

  I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this Staples location. There were approximately 75 people waiting in line to return Amazon packages, and only one employee was handling the entire line. Meanwhile, several other employees were standing around talking while this one employee worked nonstop. This is completely unacceptable. Staples closed another store in the area, so now everyone is forced to use this location. Management should have anticipated the increased customer volume and scheduled enough staff to handle it. The employee working the returns deserves credit for doing the best they could under impossible circumstances. The problem is not the employee—it is poor management and poor staffing decisions. Expecting one person to process what felt like nearly 100 customers, many with multiple Amazon returns, is unreasonable. Staples needs to use common sense. Customers should not have to wait this long because of inadequate staffing. Management needs to fix this issue immediately.
