- ACAl-waalee chapmanApr 18, 20261.0I have been going into this location for years. Use to love going in there with my mom as a kid. I even remembered it used to have a stamp machine. But never have I been told they can’t take a package because it can’t fit through the window. Past employees would just come to the side door and just take it. I had to go to work early that morning, but also had to send that package out in time. I know if I explained that, it would go in one ear and out the other, so I didn’t even bother. I even asked them at the post office on the grand Concourse at 149 street if they’re not allowed to take a large package at the Gerard location If it’s too large to fit in the window. I was told if there was nothing wrong with the package and everything was right she should have took the package. And as usual, they took it through the side door. Sometimes the woman that sits in the middle is a little rude for no reason(That was the one that refused to take my package). The Asian guy on the right is always on his phone watching something like he at home in his living room. The lady in the left window has always been so nice and pleasant to talk too. It must suck working with unprofessional people. Even though it’s in my neighborhood, I think I’m gonna stop going there. It’s not worth the long lines and the snarkiness.

The service is prompt, delivery of many packages sent from here has been successful, and one employee helped trace money orders that were quite old, and we were able to obtain the results. I have also been treated better here than most other branches. I would recommend it.

If there is two employees working, one goes to the back and stays for a long period of time. Like now.... I'm waiting on the line as I type. The visit before this one, an employee would go to the back after each customer. Terrible. They really need to get it together. If I could give zero stars, I would.
