It is the worst experience is Dealing Employees who work there especially the African-American lady I’m not racist at all. It’s just the truth. I don’t know if she brings her own problems from her house into the place of work, but they should really really get rid of her because nobody there is asking for nothing for free all the clients that come in there are paying for the services The lady that I couldn’t capture her name, but obviously everyone That dealt with her left very unsatisfied she is very rude obnoxious and unprofessional, I would never recommend no one to go to that office. They should really get rid of that lady. she is going to drag that business down I give this place no stars

On July 11, 2026, while visiting New York, I went to the USPS location at Throggs Neck Station, 3630 E. Tremont Ave., Bronx, NY 10465-9998.
While standing in line with another customer in front of me, we began hearing loud arguing from behind the customer service windows toward the back of the facility. Within moments, the argument escalated into screaming. Looking through the service window, we witnessed what appeared to be at least four USPS employees physically fighting. They were throwing punches, pulling each other's hair, and yelling profanities. It was shocking, frightening, and completely unprofessional.
As this was happening, the clerk at the far-right service window simply closed her window, stated, "I'm going to lunch," shook her head, and walked away, leaving approximately six customers standing in line with no explanation or assistance.
Despite this disturbing incident, I completed my transaction and mailed a package containing a bottle of Dior Sauvage men's cologne valued at approximately $300. The cologne had been a gift from my husband's mother. We were returning to Florida and could not take the large bottle on the airplane due to airline restrictions, so I shipped it through USPS.
When I arrived home in Florida and retrieved the package from my front door, I immediately noticed it felt unusually light. Upon opening it, I found that while the shipping box and the manufacturer's cologne box were both intact, the actual bottle of cologne was missing.
I also noticed a red USPS stamp on the package indicating that it had been received empty (or words to that effect), which appears to have been applied after the package arrived in Florida.
Given the chaotic and unprofessional environment I witnessed at this post office, I am deeply concerned that my package may have been tampered with during transit. I understand I cannot know exactly when or where the contents disappeared, but the circumstances surrounding my mailing raise serious concerns about the security and supervision at this facility.
I will also be filing an insurance claim for the missing contents.
I respectfully request that USPS investigate both this incident involving my package and the conduct that occurred at the Throggs Neck Post Office on July 11, 2026. No customer should have to witness postal employees engaged in a physical altercation while conducting business, nor should they have to worry about the security of the items they entrust to the Postal Service.
This facility clearly needs proper supervision and accountability to ensure both employee professionalism and the protection of customers' mail.

Worst experience ever. I had a package miss sent to the 10465 office instead of my local office. I called customer service and was advised to contact or visit the office holding my package so I can intercept it since it would be on the re routed track and further delayed possibly weeks. I was told to kindly ask to speak to a supervisor by customer service and provide my tracking information and identification and they should be able to assist me. When I got to the 10465 office I was met at the window by CLERK NUMBER 4.(name refused). I said good morning and explained my issue of the wrong shipping route and before I could even continue I was rudely cut off by this clerk #4. She was very rude and adamant in telling me she can’t help me,even though she’s at her window she doesn’t have to help me and laughed and walked away briefly. When she returned I asked her can I speak to a supervisor to assist me and she repeatedly denied my request. She told me to leave my name and number and she will pass it off to be contacted later. I asked her can I just please speak to the supervisor now I’m trying to catch the wrongly shipped package before it hits the streets please. I begged. She still refused. I told her I just doing what customer service suggested to do which was contact the holding branch for better assistance. Still she looked at me in disgust and ignored me this time not even answering me and just sipping her coffee. Fortunately another clerk stationed their window. I briefly explained my issues and asked to speak to a supervisor it’s very urgent. 5 mins later a supervisor came and I asked him to possibly help me locate my mail. I provided my id and tracking and he helped me retrieve it wrong the route it was going by to be mid delivered. I thank him for that. I am however so very disappointed in the lack of courtesy respect and quality of customer service provided specifically by CLERK #4. This is not the way of business nor simple human compassion. SHE LACKS THE QUALITIES LIKE BASIC COMMUNICATION SKILL EMPATHY AND REASONING THAT SHOULD BE REQUIRED AT THE FRONT LINE OF A BUSINESS!!! SHE DOES NOT REPRESENT USPS INTEGRITY OR PLEDGE OF QUAILTY IN SERVICE. I HAVE NEVER EVER IN 40+ YEARS DOING BUSINESS WITH USPS HAD AN EXPERIENCE THIS DISSATISFACTORY !!! The manger did after some time get my package and thank you again. CLERK 4 ( name refused) should not be at a window or be allowed to interact with the public at work. ITS DISGRACEFUL to represent a company that millions use daily in such a RUDE AND DEMEANING MANOR!!! AND I WILL ALSO BE FILING A FORMAL COMPLAINT AGAINST YOU CLERK 4.
