They scan packages as delivered before delivery, use recycled delivery numbers with no new updated information, and lose packages constantly and don’t provide assistance. The number to contact their office that I got from USPS customer service doesn’t work so there’s no way to actually reach them except waiting in line for at least an hour

Funded by our taxes, yet every visit here is frustrating.
Staff disappear for 15–20 minutes with a “restroom” sign while lines build up. Another employee stands around on personal phone calls instead of helping. No sense of urgency, no professionalism.
The two older women working here are consistently rude and inefficient. Every visit ends the same way—frustration.
This is the only post office nearby, so customers have no choice. Honestly, after experiencing this place, it’s easy to see why post offices are struggling.
Very disappointing.

Lydia= lazy and inefficient.
Came in almost 4pm, she takes her time so the next 4pm shift employee will take the rest of long line of customers. Total clock-watcher. Very obvious. Disgusting!

The way this location (specifically the manager) treats their customers is absolutely disgraceful and has caused a massive pile up of customers at the next most local usps about a mile away. That location was always nearly empty and now there is never a time without long lines and longer wait times (no this is not speculation, I confirmed this via multiple conversations with different individuals on line- no one wants to deal with the nasty manager at this location and we are understandably opting for alternatives). This is a lot harsher than I would like to be, as I have never before in many MANY decades of life advocated for something like this under any circumstances, but because mail is such an important function of our society and because a recent Supreme Court case will mean that now more than ever we need mail employees with integrity to bypass the fact that there will never be any legal accountability for this department, I highly *highly* urge any postal inspectors or relevant government agencies to either shut this location down entirely or to PLEASE fire the manager who is nearly OBSESSED with the concept that circulates on fox news and other right wing media platforms- she frequently brings up the idea that usps "loses money," or alludes to it losing money. Usps is a governmental service that I should be able to utilize given the money I devote to taxes, and not a service I should have to travel far to obtain simply because this one location is run by the least understanding woman alive. The employee in question isn't in the accounting department and shouldn't be burdening customers with her interpretations of usps financial data- whether usps loses money or not, the losses aren't coming out of her paycheck, nor are they coming from individual customers reusing their own boxes as opposed to purchasing usps materials (reused boxes are one of her main gripes and no, i am not referring to boxes that don't meet usps guidelines, i'm talking about ANY box that she hasn't personally administered the sale of-she has caused so much anxiety in customers that one time I watched as a customer in line black out every word on a label on his box with a sharpie even though a new label can easily be placed over the old one- when people asked him what he was doing he said that he had been turned away before and couldn't risk this happening again- if you're wondering why we have time to converse with other customers in usps, that's because there is frequently only one person working and the lines extend out the door- this seems like a really small and minor example but you should have seen how anxious and meticulous this poor guy was). Automation of jobs is an evil that our society should purge entirely, with the exception of this one location which needs self-service kiosk EXPEDITIOUSLY so that this employee can be let go (and this is coming from someone who has never even used the self checkout section of a grocery store because of how strongly I oppose automation, and someone who has never once used AI). There are two good things about this location: 1) for all the lack of understanding for customers, the employees at least extend a lot of understanding to themselves. Walking in to zero employees because of a lunch break or waiting outside because the 8:30 AM opening time is clearly **just a suggestion** was the norm back when I used to rely on this post office (that was before I gave up). 2) had this location not been insufferable I would never have been blessed to discover how nice and accommodating other usps' are! I used to also buy into the notion that privatizing usps was the move, that ups and FedEx were better options, but that was clearly just a byproduct of my trauma! I'll take the long lines elsewhere ANY day- at least after waiting on said lines you actually get your mail sent out instead of turned away for some arbitrary reason with a lecture about usps losing money xD

I've never been to a slower USPS in my life. If there are 2 people in front of u, be prepared to wait 20-30min. This one was right down the st from me and unfortunately I would have to drive to the Broadway location.
