One of the persons working the front desk is mean, cranky, treating customers as inconveniences, and snaps at them when she speaks. This woman has anger issues and should not be working with the public. I'm not going to renew my po box because of her.

although our individual route carrier is terrific, the service at the post office is poor at best. it's better than it was, which isn't saying much. for a time, the joke was "can I at least finish telling you what I want before you say no?" because AP is so consistently bad, I use the West Sand Lake location instead, which is as great as AP is bad. the person who mans the desk is highly competent, efficient, knowledgeable, and utterly professional. the extra few minutes' drive is well worth it. some time ago, at WSL they noticed my return address and asked why I was there instead of the AP location. I said "have you gone in there lately?" there were no additional questions.

I got my neighbors' mail not infrequently for a long time, which makes me think a fair amount of mine went undelivered. And I had a pretty awful experience here when I first moved to the area. I received notice of mail being held at the post office. But I didn't know which one, since there's actually one closer to my home with the overarching name of the township, not just the submunicipal area. Google and a few other searches showed a discrepancy with my zip code. So I went here to ask about it and the answer I was given was simply, "well you should know where you live." And when I explained the perceived discrepancy she only reiterated, "you should know where you live." I was really just kind of in disbelief. It seemed as though my very existence agitated this lady. So I asked if there was any mail for my name and address being held here. There was. So I informed her that she'd answered my zip code question despite her best efforts. Somehow she seemed even more miserable, which I wouldn't have thought possible. Never went back. I've had more respectful treatment from embittered toddlers.

They claimed they tried to deliver a package and didn’t. I have cameras in place and at no time did they attempt. So sad I have to pay for shipping and have to go to the post office to pick it up. They should give me a refund on postage.
