Sometimes, I come in to mail something and if I do not see either of them I come back another day. They are fast and efficient with the perfect amount of friendliness that the circumstance calls for (long line - quick and warm, short line - lingering chat). Sure, sometimes the lines are long but...welcome to every NYC USPS location in the history of America. At least with Mel and Vernon working I know they are going as quickly as possible while thoroughly investigating customer issues. We stan Mel and Vernon.

- JGJaclyn GoldbergMay 16, 20261.0Horrible service, rude employees I went to mail my passport renewal documents and the process was terrible from start to finish. I told the employee what I was there to do, and he rolled his eyes and tossed me an envelope. I filled out what I needed to fill out, and then returned to the counter and a woman said “sir you can come over here” (I’m clearly a woman so she wasn’t even looking up). I got there and asked her if she would mind taking a look to make sure I have everything and filled everything out correctly. She didn’t even acknowledge me. I asked again. She still pretended I wasn’t there. She was also on the phone at the same time as “helping” me, so I didn’t even know if she was speaking to me or to the person on the other end the whole time. All she said to me was “close your envelope” so obviously she wasn’t going to acknowledge my request for help. She barely walked me through the prompts on the screen and handed me a receipt. Awful, horrendous staff. Try to avoid if you can.
