  I occasionally drop off Amazon returns here, and most times I have no issue. The staff there are good. Today, I had a return that - for whatever reason - Amazon told me required a return Mailing Label. Since I don't have a printer at home, when I got to the UPS Store, I asked if I could email them the label, for them to print and affix to the return envelope. The charge for the return envelope was $2.00, which I was informed of, beforehand, and which I know is pretty standard. So imagine my surprise when I am ready to insert my credit card for payment, only to see a charge of SEVEN DOLLARS and change. I ask what that charge is all about, and the woman tells me that there is a FIVE DOLLAR charge for printing the ONE PAGE return label. I was like 'say what??", and with that, she points to a sign on the wall behind her. Now why would I notice that sign, among all the other signs all over the store? And why would I even think to CHECK/CONFIRM, beforehand, what the cost to print ONE PAGE, might cost? Any other time I've had a document printed somewhere, the cost was typically fifty cents, or one dollar at most. But FIVE dollars? That is super sleazy. I told the employee that it would have been 'nice' to inform customers, beforehand, and verbally. Who on earth is expecting to pay FIVE DOLLARS for a place to print out one sheet of printed paper??

  I would give this store zero Stars if I could the staff is very very rude and obnoxious I walked in at 6:59 p.m. with a box they only had to scan the barcode and before I could even get halfway through the store the guy told me we cannot help you we're closed come back tomorrow. When I told him I only have a box and I only have to scan the code he can mail it tomorrow that's fine he laughed and told me we're closed I asked again can you please just scan it I came from work you're still helping somebody else there was another guy just standing there doing nothing and again he laughed and said it's 7:02 like I said we're closed I told him well I walked in at 6:59 and you told me you were closed and you couldn't help me and the door wasn't locked. I told him that he was being very rude and being a jerk I told him I would let his manager know.he had such a smirk and kept laughing. I told him I don't find this funny at all. What kind of people do that?

  Supporting Our Astoria Small Businesses ❤️ As a small business owner myself, I know firsthand how hard it can be to run a business—especially during these difficult times. Today, I stopped into the UPS Store in the Plaza Samir (the owner )was so pleasant and took the time to explain something I honestly didn’t realize: the UPS Store is not owned by UPS. Each location is independently owned, often by a family or small business owner. Samir opened this location in 2020 and has been working hard to run his own local business. It was a good reminder that when we support these stores, restaurants, salons, pet shops, and other local businesses, we are supporting real people and families in our community. So, to all of our Astoria families: please continue to support our small businesses! ❤️ We need each other now more than ever. Shop local, eat local, and support the people who are working hard every day to keep our community thriving. 🐾❤️

  I came here to drop off a package for Amazon returns and the person told me that I cannot ship the product in the package that Amazon shipped me the package in. This place is terrible. I went to another ups on Long Island city and they took the same package without a single issue. ABSOLUTELY AVOID IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME
