- ACAngelica ClineMay 20, 20261.0I love the look of the building it was opened the day pearl harbor was attacked in 1941.But this. 🚨 SERIOUS SAFETY & ACCESSIBILITY HAZARD: GROSS NEGLIGENCE This facility is engaging in gross negligence and a severe violation of federal accessibility standards. They are currently refusing to allow disabled and elderly customers inside the building if they cannot use the stairs. Instead, they are forcing these vulnerable individuals to wait outside by the back loading dock. This is a textbook case of gross negligence for three reasons: Creating an Active Hazard: A loading dock is an active industrial zone with heavy trucks, blind spots, and fumes. Forcing frail, elderly, or wheelchair-bound individuals into this environment is a massive safety risk. Extreme Weather Exposure: Leaving physically vulnerable people outside in extreme temperatures like 105 while healthy individuals are allowed inside shows a reckless disregard for human life and safety. Failure of Basic Duty: As a public facility, they have a legal duty to provide safe, equal access. Forcing disabled people to the back dock like freight because management refuses to provide a proper ramp or indoor waiting area is unacceptable. This is a direct violation of federal civil rights under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. It is dangerous, degrading, and a massive liability. Fix this immediately before someone is seriously injured or suffers heatstroke/hypothermia.
