  Extremely Disappointing Experience — Amazon Return If you have an Amazon return, I strongly recommend confirming the return requirements before using this facility. My experience was extremely disappointing. I was returning an EZ-Up that arrived damaged from Amazon. Amazon specifically instructed me that no box was needed and that I could simply drop it off at UPS for the return. When I showed the two supervisors the Amazon instructions, I was told that this location requires a box and that I would have to pay for one. When I questioned why I was being charged when Amazon had specifically indicated that no box was required, the male supervisor became very confrontational. He puffed out his chest and walked toward me while loudly stating, “WE require a box.” I felt extremely uncomfortable and intimidated by the interaction. I ultimately purchased a box. Then another employee told me I needed two boxes, so I was charged for another box. After that, I was told there was also a $21 packing fee. In total, I was charged approximately $63 just to return an EZ-Up that cost about $180, even though Amazon had instructed me that no box was necessary. I contacted Amazon afterward and was told they were aware of complaints regarding this situation and were looking into the facility. I also contacted the supplier, who said they would reach out to Amazon as well. My biggest concern isn't simply the cost—it is the way I was treated when I respectfully asked a reasonable question. Customers should not feel intimidated or spoken to disrespectfully for asking why they are being charged fees that appear inconsistent with their Amazon return instructions. I hope the facility and Amazon address this issue so other customers don't have the same experience. Customers should not be made to feel intimidated or pressured into paying additional fees for an Amazon return. I strongly recommend checking the return requirements and asking questions before using this facility. If you have experienced similar issues, I encourage you to contact Amazon and UPS and let them know what is happening at this location. These concerns need to be addressed so other customers don't have to go through the same experience.
