- MBMandy BaggettApr 28, 20261.0So I was waiting all morning for a package to be delivered by the post office because Amazon said I needed to sign for it because it was expensive. At 12:09 I get a notification that an attempt was made but the door/driveway wasn’t accessible, which is false. My front driveway and pathway is highly accessible. So I drive to the post office and talk to someone from the back. He calls the driver that was delivering the packages on speaker phone and asks her if she still has the package. She says that no one answered the door. I told both of them if she had actually knocked on the door I might have answered it. I told him no attempt was made to deliver the package. He told her to deliver it before she came back and he’d talk to her. No sooner had I pulled into my driveway (which is only a 2 minute drive from the post office) a mini van with a post office sticker comes driving down the road, almost passing me in my driveway. I had to flag her down!!! She stops, gets out of the van with my package, asks if this is for me, scans it and drives off. Doesn’t ask for a name, doesn’t have me sign. Just here you go and runs off! I could have been anyone waving down a van. The post office really has some fricken dumb drivers!
