- SSSythenixAug 10, 20261.0Very frustrating experience and poor communication. Our home is temporarily uninhabitable due to a fire, and USPS unexpectedly placed our mail on a 10-day hold even though our mailbox is completely accessible and we had been checking it regularly without explanation. We went to this post office multiple times trying to figure out what we needed to do and received different answers. We were initially told our address could be noted as not vacant so delivery could continue. Later, we were told mail could not be delivered because nobody was currently living at the property and that we needed to forward our mail, which I did. My mother then spoke with a supervisor who told her and promised that our mail would be delivered to our old address again. We checked, and no mail was delivered. When she returned to the post office, she was given a hard time and told that we needed to forward our address the exact thing I had already done the week before. I understand USPS may have policies regarding delivery to an unoccupied property. My issue is not the policy. The issue is the lack of communication and the conflicting information we’ve repeatedly received from employees and supervisors. This situation could have been resolved during our first visit if someone had simply given us a clear and accurate explanation of what we needed to do and the reason behind the mail hold.

- LRLucy RayoApr 23, 20261.0i’m pretty sure they lost my package, it says “delivered in parcel locker” was left no key, i live in a residential home. went to the post office lady that took care of me was really sweet but if it was put in the wrong mailbox someone already took my package. was told I would get contacted some time today and did not. so upsetting when you wasted over $300 in clothing and they misplaced your packages.
