  This Staple on Lohman is best Staples or any office supply store I have ever been to. I love visiting their amply stocked store, as I have done several times over the last 6 months, making numerous purchases. The team who works in this store is awesome, the best possible. The manager, Alex, always goes above and beyond to help me immediately whatever I need it or about which I have a question. I have been a not very considerate customer by walking in at 7:43 pm, when they close at 8:00 pm, with at least 40 items for Alex to return to Amazon. I told him upfront I understood if he would not be able to complete all the items by closing time. However, with his positive attitude, perseverance, and exuberant personality, he completed the task by 7:55 pm. I was able to obtain immediate advanced credit to my Amazon account. Since he was so wonderful with that endeavor, I managed to unfortunately, stroll in at 7:45 pm, a couple nights later with about 6 items to return to Amazon. Once again, Alex fully accomplished the returns, smiling and friendly, in less than 10 minutes. Alex is super, the most awesome manager or employee with whom I have ever had the pleasure of working with in any retail business. Thank you so much, Alex. You have to have a lot of patience to smile for me while I am your customer!😌

  They have a problematic employee, probably in his 50s. I’ll update this review with his name once I have it. Management has apologized for his abusive behavior multiple times and even suggested we simply come in when he isn’t working. Then they informed us he works Monday through Friday from 9 to 5, making that “solution” completely ridiculous. Think about that for a moment…their answer wasn’t to address the problem, but to tell customers to avoid the employee during the hours most people can actually shop. Apparently avoiding an abusive employee is easier than correcting the behavior. When I made this latest complaint, management blamed Amazon’s new return policy for his aggressive behavior. That’s a remarkable excuse considering processing Amazon returns is literally the job he’s being paid to do. Customers shouldn’t be treated with hostility for using a service Staples chooses to offer.

  I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this Staples location. One of the male employees was unnecessarily aggressive, rude, and dismissive from the moment I asked for assistance. Instead of trying to help, he spoke to me with an attitude that made me feel like I was inconveniencing him regarding an Amazon return. Customer service should never involve intimidation or hostility. There are professional ways to handle questions or disagreements, and this employee chose none of them. I expect much better from a company like Staples. I spoke with an manager about it and she blew it off and told me to alter the time I come to the store so I don’t have to interact with him (instead of addressing his behavior). I will be calling corporate.
