This post office is operating in an extremely unprofessional manner. The employees and the manager consistently display spiteful behavior and avoid accountability for their own mistakes. Mail is being intentionally returned when they have personal issues with certain customers, and they frequently misread labels or place mail and packages in the wrong locations. They act as though the small-town setting allows them to ignore proper procedures. The manager in particular demonstrates poor leadership. She talks over customers, refuses to let them speak, and frequently shifts blame onto others. She makes inappropriate comments about her staff, such as “I’m not out there holding her hand,” and openly admits she has no idea what her carriers do. This is unacceptable management. This location needs a full review of staff conduct and leadership. The manager should be replaced, and the employees need retraining to ensure they follow USPS standards and treat customers with professionalism.

Lady named Marybel was EXTREMELY rude. She was quick to dismiss me and told me to get out of the way if i didn’t have the correct code. Turned out it was the right code and she was doing something wrong on her end because i came back in a few minutes later and a nice girl with blonde hair helped me right away.

I called the Kirtland post office and was put thru to my carrier. She was extremely rude to me immediately. No hello may I help. Just rudely I have had no complaints about the storage lockers on your street. This is the second time I have had the wrong key placed in my box to open the storage locker to retrieve the package. So that was not true. I can't even begin the explain how extremely rude this woman was. Horrible customer service. Without even asking I was told I don't have time to deliver to each house. I never asked her to. I just told her I tried working to get the key to fit for 30 minutes and she kept saying it was my fault. No the key won't fit. I've never had a person be so rude and defensive on the phone. I was kind, but she was very hateful. Now I worry about getting packages in the future. Edit: I called and asked for the post master and explained my situation and what had happened. She was kind and said she would take care of it and talk to the mail carrier. Post Master gets 5 stars. Mail carrier 1 or a 0 if I could give that.

My package arrived at the post office according to the tracking number. I waited until the next day to get it but it was "return to sender" a day later, I called the sender and she told me it was refused. I could not believe it. Kirtland Post Office told me the address was wrong.. the only thing I saw different the # sign was not added.. come on! I don't think you need to be a rocket scientist to figure things out. This is the fourth time they sent my package back to sender in the past year. Anyone have the same issue? Which post office has better service in the vicinity of Kirtland?
