  My wife and I frequent this establishment at least 4 or 5 times a month. I have always appreciated the service provided by its employees even during times when they had so many customers. They were always so courteous. The establishment is under new management (as noted on a placard in the facility) but today (08/06/2026) I encountered a rude and unprofessional attitude by one of their employees. I arrived at approximately 4:45 pm (the facility according to their posting near the door states that they are open until 6:00pm) and as I reached to open the door, I noticed a crudely written note on an 8"x11.5" sheet of paper which stated "only one person here today, taking a 25 minute break." The note did not state when the facility would be reopening nor did it state when the employee's break began and when it would end. So I decided to just wait because it may only be 25 minutes or even less as to when the facility would be reopening. I stood by the door for about 5 minutes, when the UPS store employee opened the door and stated "I have been working 6 hours straight and I am taking a 25 minute break, I am entitled to that!" I stated that I just had "two items that had to be returned (Amazon). I figured the employee was about to tell me as to when he planned to reopen and when it would be convenient for me to return. Instead he stood in the doorway and pondered the situation for about 10 to 15 seconds and then said "'come on in." As I walked in, the employee mentioned that he was working with his last customer and that was when I noticed a female near the cash register on the north end of the counter. As I stepped up to the cash register in the center of the counter, I layed my two packages on the scale and the UPS employee entered his service area. The UPS employee did not stop to assist me but continued walking past me and headed north to the back of the facility. It was at this time he said "I don't appriciate this!" It was then that I picked up my packages and stated "I am leaving and do not feel that a customer should be treated this way!" The UPS employee continued to state that he had been working 6 hours straight and that he was entitled to a 25 minute break and further stated that his manager had approved it. It was at this time that the female (who I gather was a customer) came to the UPS employee's defense and stated "I am a witness to this!" I asked "a witness to what?" I never told the UPS employee that he could not take a break and as matter of fact HE was the one that invited me in and I thought he was going to assist me. The UPS employee and customer then continued to argue with me and eventually both turned their back on me. I then said I would contact the manager regarding the incident and that I would no longer do business there. On a monthly basis, I send packages to family members in California and Massachusetts and have numerous returns to Amazon at this facility. I know they are going through a change in management and I understand that and I have been patient but there is no reason for employees to have a lack of professionalism. Thank You

  We came to this UPS Store for passport photos. Everett was so nice and helpful. No appointment necessary. We walked out with great photos in less than 10 minutes.

  Manager and Notary Amethyst V. was absolutely horrid when I went in. She didn't greet me when I walked in, to start. Then she barely acknowledged me when I asked her for help with returning a package. She told me I would need to email her my shipping label, which I did. She then went into the back and I practically never saw her again. I had never returned a package like this, I usually go through Amazon. She didn't give me instructions or anything for how the process works. When she did eventually come out from the back, she was talking to her coworker. Convo was something like this: "Yeah I'm gonna have to stay late to get something done. I already clocked out but that's okay." That made me irate! Who clocks out and ends their shift in the middle of a customer interaction?? I was waiting on her, standing there like and idiot for about 20 minutes before her coworker took over. Amethyst obviously needs retraining when it comes to customer service. Thank god Everett B. was there, because once he realized how incompetent Amethyst was being, he took over the interaction and I was gone in 5 minutes. He was so nice and jovial, walked me through the process with a smile, and even maintained small talk with me throughout the transaction. He was fantastic, unlike Amethyst. To summarize, Amethyst needs retraining and coaching, and Everett needs a raise.

  Waited in line for 20 minutes. When it was my turn to be helped employee asked for Amazon cancellations to cut in before me. I left. UPS on Paseo is fantastic.
