- JJJimJun 5, 20261.0What a mess. This is not what they make it out to be. First the salesman at Costco did not mention that you had to schedule an installation. When the unit was delivered it was dropped in the front door and left in a hurry. No set up and no directions on the unit. I called the 800 number and it took me 25 minutes to get ahold of a supervisor to talk about the problem. He sent me a manual through email. I read through it and made sure everything was correctly hooked up and on. The unit is used which I was told they were refurbished units. After being hooked up for 24 hours the cold side was Luke warm and had a moldy taste. The hot side did work. Called and canceled the deal. Not a good business deal and makes me wonder just how the company stays in business with all the problems I encountered.
