Private Sector Security Operations: Narrow Gate Security Agency operates a U.S. based private security firm and provides an array of security services to private and publicly owned corporations in America. We are uniquely known for our pre-intrusion alarm concepts and ability to integrate alarm/video surveillance systems that detour crime. The integrated systems are monitored at NGSA’s Albuquerque, New Mexico underground operations center known as C3. Information reviewed by C3 is then dispatched directly to Narrow Gate security staff or it security staffing affiliates nationwide. This operation is primarily focused on corporate office buildings and complexes. NGSA staff conducts Vulnerability Assessments for private corporate sectors nationwide. Unlike the majority of government and private entities who claim to conduct “vulnerability assessments” and never provide solutions, we examine the problem and then provide solutions through the use a system engineering approach. Our solutions integrate advanced detection and assessment technologies, lethal and non-lethal delay systems, and a multi-tier response element. This enables the security system to provide early detection and assessment of a threat to delay advance long enough to allow a timely and effective response. The sensor systems we represent were originally designed for military and border patrol applications and provide detection-in-depth along a linear or perimeter security system. Our staff provide long-term security, consulting, construction, testing, training, and maintenance requirements for the security industry worldwide: Tactical infrastructure (TI) components such as roads, fencing, lights, sensors, cameras (when required), electrical components, and drainage structures, to alleviate security issues on several borders, (United States-Mexico, United States-Canada, Iraqi-Iranian, Iraqi- Kuwaiti, and others) to meet the needs and security mission of the customer. The security requirements established at each border are varied. The need to control and identify legal/illegal pedestrian activity and vehicle traffic, fencing projects, response forces and times are the most critical requirements of border security. Developing and implementing legal/illegal crossing, detection and apprehension of smuggling is crucial. Our staff leads in the development of integrated technologies that reduce false alarms/intrusions and improve critical incident response.
